Two Forks in Ballance

This is an old trick to balance two forks supported by a thin tooth pick. This one is quite spectacular when you actually see the pivot point resting on the rim of a glass.
This demonstration shows not only the concept of center of gravity but also stability.
Material list:

• One cork such as wine bottle cork;
• Two metal dinner forks, preferably identical;
• Toothpick;
• One glass;
• Matches
